Great little cafe very friendly staff and good old fry ups. Great prices and great food

Excellent place for a snack or a full lunch. I go as often as possible because there's always a great welcome from Becky front of house and from Michael the chef. The food is always fantastic, the prices never seem to go up and the atmosphere is great. Can't be faulted. Go on give it a try. You'll never want to eat anywhere else.

I've been visiting here since I was 13 and I'm 60 now. Fantastic front of house with excellent customer greeting and always treats me well. Backed up by great food brilliantly prepared and presented. (mastercchef contestants could learn from Michael). Tasty fare with proper portions. I don't eat anywhere else as it's not as good as The Norfolk Kitchen. I'm a regular and you get treated like family. When you know you're going to be treated this well why go anywhere else. Thanks to Becky, Michael and Lorraine for the best place in town to sit down, relax and enjoy the food without stress or hurry. Can't beat it.

Good food at a reasonable price and great service, a nice traditional and friendly place to eat.

This is a cafe, a good old fashioned cafe no frills, no fancy menu, just good food at great price and yes the place may not be to everyone tastes but it's a old building and yes the decor will not be to everyone tastes, but I just loved it. The lady who served us was very nice we had a laugh and joke with her. I had ham,egg and chips, husband had sausages, egg,bacon and chip and you just couldn't fault it it was lovely and for the price great value. And for a naughty desert a knickerbocker glory a propper knickerbocker glory I was heaven.It's cash only, not sure about WC but if you need to go there are other places. And if you want greenery then you are out of luck but if you want to be naughty and not feel guilty about it then this is the place to go because it's not on the menu to pick.

Great little cafe in the old market square in Dereham.I’ve had the full english many times with a cup of tea, if I’m a little more hungry I’ll order sausage, egg, chips and beans with a couple of slices of b&b, the chips are always freshly cooked and are as good as any chip shop, the eggs have a good colour too and are super fresh.Been visiting for years, will continue to do so.

Went in today before the polar express train and it was brillant.. Really nice food and the waitress was a lovely lady and couldn't help anymore with our 2 year old.. With extra sauce for chippies to a strawberry ice cream dessert after our lunch.. Really made us feel welcomed and will definitely visit again when in Dereham...
